Valentino Uomo is a leather fragrance for men, composed by Olivier Polge for Valentino in 2014. Bergamot and myrtle open it briefly, and then it becomes a dessert: roasted coffee with hazelnut and chocolate, which the house described as gianduja cream. Leather and cedar hold the base and keep the sweetness in check, giving the drydown a dry, slightly bitter finish. Gourmand without ever quite committing to it. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits autumn and winter evenings.
