Versense is a woody floral musk for women, released by Versace in 2009. No perfumer is credited. It opens fresh and fruity on bergamot, green mandarin and fig, with pear rounding the edges, then moves into a light floral heart of lily, jasmine and narcissus lifted by cardamom. The base is its most distinctive part: olive tree and Virginia cedar with sandalwood and musk, giving it a dry Mediterranean quality rather than a sweet one. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, which suits it to spring and summer daytime.
