Beauty is a floral for women, composed by Sophie Labbé for Calvin Klein in 2010 and built from three things only: ambrette, jasmine and Virginia cedar. The ambrette gives it a soft musky opening, the jasmine is clean rather than indolic, and the cedar keeps the whole thing dry. Klein aimed it at older women and made no attempt at seduction, which the simplicity shows. Its shape was taken from the curve of a calla lily. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits spring days.
