Obsession

Obsession is an oriental spicy fragrance for women, composed by Jean Guichard for Calvin Klein in 1985. It opens deceptively fresh on bergamot, mandarin and basil with peach behind them, then turns quickly into spice: coriander and a broad spice accord over jasmine, rose and orange blossom, with oakmoss, cedar and sandalwood underneath. The base is where its reputation comes from, amber and incense with vanilla, musk, vetiver and an animalic trace of civet. It lasts a long time and projects strongly, and it suits autumn and winter evenings.
