CK One Shock For Him is an oriental spicy fragrance for men, credited to Ann Gottlieb and IFF and released by Calvin Klein in 2011. Unlike CK One, the unisex citrus the house put out in 1994, Shock came as two separate compositions, one for him and one for her. Clementine and cucumber open it cool and green with lavender, then black pepper, basil and cardamom heat the middle. Tobacco is the note that carries the rest, dry and slightly sweet over patchouli, amber and musk. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits autumn and winter, day or night.
