Perles De Lalique is a floral chypre for women, composed by Nathalie Lorson in 2006. Rose opens it alone, sweet and faintly spiced, and then it goes quiet and powdery: iris and orris root with bourbon pepper giving the middle a dry prickle rather than heat. The base is the chypre proper, patchouli and oakmoss over vetiver and cashmere wood, earthy under all that powder. Its extrait bottle was modelled on a René Lalique powder bowl of 1928. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits daytime in spring, autumn and winter.
