Jazz Club is a leather fragrance for men, made for Maison Martin Margiela by Alienor Massenet in 2013. It smells like the back of a bar: rum and tobacco leaf at its core, sweetened by vanilla bean and resinous styrax, with lemon, neroli and pink pepper brightening the opening while clary sage and vetiver keep the middle dry rather than sugary. Warm and boozy without being heavy. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, so it stays fairly close. Autumn and winter, in the evening.
