A*Men Pure Havane

A*Men Pure Havane is an oriental vanilla for men, composed by Jacques Huclier for Mugler in 2011, the third of the limited A*Men variations after Pure Coffee in 2008 and Pure Malt in 2009. Honey and tobacco leaf open it thick and sticky, a gourmand reading of a cigar rather than a smoky one, then bitter cocoa and vanilla deepen it with patchouli underneath. Labdanum, amber and styrax make the drydown resinous and dark. Sweet, heavy and recognisable at a distance. It lasts a long time and projects strongly, and it belongs to autumn and winter evenings.
