Layton is an oriental floral fragrance for women and men, made for Parfums de Marly by Hamid Merati-Kashani in 2016. Apple and bergamot open it bright and juicy, lavender cuts across them, and then it settles into spice and sweetness: cardamom and pepper over vanilla, guaiac wood, sandalwood and patchouli, with geranium, violet and jasmine holding a floral thread through the middle. Sweet, spicy and unmistakably loud. It lasts a long time and projects strongly. Autumn, winter and spring, day or night.
