Pure XS

Pure XS is an aromatic spicy fragrance for men, created for Rabanne in 2017 by Anne Flipo, Bruno Jovanovic and Caroline Dumur. The name is short for Pure Excess and it follows the original XS of 1993. An overdose of cold ginger opens it against grapefruit and thyme, and the heart swings the other way entirely: cinnamon, apple and a boozy leather accord folded into vanilla. Myrrh, sugar, cashmeran and patchouli make the base warm and sticky. Hot against cold is the whole plan. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits autumn and winter evenings.
