Red Jeans is a floral fruity for women, composed by Jean-Pierre Bethouart for Versace in 1994. Peach and apricot open it soft and sweet with blackcurrant giving a tart edge, then it turns into a full, old-fashioned flower shop: rose and ylang-ylang with violet and lily-of-the-valley making it powdery rather than juicy. Musk, sandalwood and vanilla round it off gently. Uncomplicated and cheerful, aimed squarely at the young. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits spring and summer days.
