Epic Woman

Epic Woman is an oriental floral for women, created for Amouage in 2009 by Angéline Leporini, Cécile Zarokian and Daniel Maurel. Spice leads, caraway and cinnamon, sharp and dry, before damask rose opens up with geranium and a bitter edge of tea behind it. The base is the house at full strength: oud and olibanum over patchouli, sandalwood and guaiac, with amber and vanilla softening the resin just enough. Formal, and not remotely casual. It lasts a long time and projects strongly, and it works in autumn and winter, day or night.
