Jubilation XXV Man is an oriental fougere for men, composed by Bertrand Duchaufour for Amouage in 2007. Blackberry opens it, ripe and dark, with olibanum and labdanum already resinous behind it and tarragon and coriander adding a green herbal bite. The heart is where it gets strange and good: honey and clove with celery seed, bay leaf and cinnamon, savoury and sweet at the same time over rose and guaiac wood. Oud, myrrh, opoponax and ambergris weigh down the base. It lasts a long time and projects moderately, and it works in autumn and winter, day or night.
