CK Free is a woody aromatic fragrance for men, created by Rodrigo Flores-Roux and Ellen Molner for Calvin Klein in 2009. Juniper berries, star anise and wormwood open it bitter and herbal, with jackfruit adding an odd tropical sweetness underneath. The heart is the best of it: coffee and tobacco set against suede, dry and a little smoky. Cedar, oak and patchouli finish it woody and plain. It does not last long and it stays close to the skin, so it works as a spring and summer daytime scent rather than a statement.
