Escape is a floral aquatic fragrance for women, composed by Claude Dir for Calvin Klein in 1991. Melon and apple give it a watery, slightly sweet opening with chamomile and marigold making it herbal and a little bitter, which is what stops it being ordinary fruit. The heart is a proper floral, rose, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley and carnation with peach and cloves, and then it goes dry and mossy on oakmoss, sandalwood, vetiver and cedar. It lasts a long time and projects strongly, and it suits daylight in spring, summer and autumn.
