Secret Obsession

Secret Obsession is an oriental floral for women, created for Calvin Klein in 2008 by Givaudan, Ann Gottlieb and Calice Becker. Nutmeg, mace and plum give it a spiced, faintly boozy opening over rose, then a thick white floral heart of tuberose, jasmine and orange blossom with orchid and ylang-ylang behind them. The base is dry and slightly bitter, wormwood and orris against sandalwood, cashmere wood, cedar, amber and vanilla. Heavier than the whisper in its name suggests. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits autumn and winter evenings.
