L'Insoumis is a woody aromatic fragrance for men from Lalique, composed by Fabrice Pellegrin and launched in September 2016. It was dedicated to the house's founder, René Lalique, and its bottle carries a fern relief first used on his Tourbillons vase from 1926. Basil, rum and bergamot open it with an intense aromatic lift, before a classic fougere heart of lavender, clary sage and black pepper. Haitian vetiver, patchouli, moss and woods make an earthy base. It wears moderately, for spring and autumn days.
