Haltane

Haltane is a woody aromatic for men, released by Parfums de Marly in 2021 with no perfumer credited and made for Harrods alone. Lavender, clary sage and bergamot give it a clean herbal opening, and then it turns sweet and dense: praline against saffron, nutty and metallic together, which is the house's way of modernising oud. Agarwood and cedar carry the base, resinous and dry under all that sugar. It lasts a long time and projects strongly, and it suits autumn and winter evenings.
