Layton Exclusif is an oriental fragrance for women and men, composed by Hamid Merati-Kashani for Parfums de Marly in 2017. Almond and bergamot open it soft and nutty with apple and watery notes behind them, then the heart turns animal: civet under rose, gardenia and geranium, with cinnamon warming it. The base is long and dark, Laotian oud and guaiac wood with leather, coffee, oakmoss and sandalwood, sweetened by vanilla. Rich to the point of being crowded, and it wears like it. It lasts a long time and projects strongly, suiting autumn and winter evenings.
