Safanad is a floral for women, composed by Fabrice Pellegrin for Parfums de Marly in 2013. Pear and orange open it juicy and bright, then the heart turns creamy and white: orange blossom and ylang-ylang with iris giving them a powdery, slightly cool edge that keeps the sweetness in check. Vanilla, sandalwood and amber finish it warm and soft. A short list, comfortably put together, and sweeter than it is floral. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it works in autumn, winter and spring, day or night.
