Comme une Evidence is a chypre floral for women, composed by Annick Menardo for Yves Rocher in 2003 from a short list of materials. Rhubarb and violet leaf open it green and tart, almost stalky, and the heart stays restrained: rose and lily-of-the-valley kept light rather than lush. The base does the work, oakmoss and patchouli giving it the earthy, slightly damp quality a chypre needs, with musk smoothing the end. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits spring daylight.
