So Elixir Purple Eau de Parfum is a floral fruity fragrance for women, composed by Marie Salamagne for Yves Rocher in 2012, the fourth edition in the So Elixir line. Bergamot alone opens it, and then tuberose takes over: milky, honeyed and heavy, with vetiver cutting a green root-like line through it. The base is warm and resinous, patchouli, benzoin, incense and tonka bean with vanilla making it soft. More oriental than its fruity label suggests. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits autumn and winter evenings.
