So Elixir was created for Yves Rocher in 2009 by Olivier Cresp, Marie Salamagne and Jacques Cavallier Belletrud, and no family is recorded for it. The notes are listed without a pyramid, and the structure is simple enough without one: bergamot gives a brief lift, rose and jasmine make a rich white floral centre, and incense cuts through them with a dry, smoky bitterness. Patchouli and tonka bean give the base its warmth and its weight. Three well-known noses on a modest composition. It lasts a long time and projects strongly, day or night in autumn and winter.
