Rose Oud is an oriental floral for women, created by Annick Menardo and Olivier Cresp for Yves Rocher in 2016. Four materials and no pyramid: damask rose, oud, labdanum and cumin. The rose is dark and jammy rather than fresh, the oud dry and medicinal beside it, labdanum giving a sticky amber warmth, and the cumin is what makes it interesting, a skin-like, slightly sweaty note that keeps the whole thing from being polite. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it belongs to winter and autumn evenings.
