La Petite Robe Noire is an oriental vanilla for women, reworked by Thierry Wasser for Guerlain and given a general release in 2012 after two earlier limited editions in 2009 and 2011. Sour cherry and almond lead, sweet and faintly medicinal, with red berries and bergamot behind them. The heart is rose and smoked tea cut with licorice, and it finishes on vanilla, tonka bean and anise over iris and patchouli. It is named for the little black dress. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits autumn and winter, day or night.
