Samsara Eau de Parfum is an oriental woody fragrance for women, composed by Jean-Paul Guerlain in 1989. Ylang-ylang and peach open it over bergamot and lemon, sweet but with a green edge, and the heart is a full floral: jasmine, narcissus, rose and violet gathered around iris and orris root. Sandalwood is what it is known for, and it runs through the base with vanilla, tonka bean, amber and musk. Powdery and substantial rather than light. It lasts a long time and projects strongly, and it suits autumn and winter evenings.
