La Vie Est Belle is a floral fruity gourmand for women, made for Lancôme in 2012 by Olivier Polge, Dominique Ropion and Anne Flipo. Iris is the centre of it, cool and a little powdery, surrounded by jasmine and orange blossom, with blackcurrant and pear opening it and praline, tonka bean, vanilla and patchouli making the base sweet without going sugary. The three perfumers spent years on it before Lancôme settled on a formula. It lasts a long time and projects strongly. Autumn and winter, day or night.
