Ô de Lancôme is a citrus fragrance for women, composed by Robert Gonnon in 1969. Lemon, bergamot and mandarin open it sharp and clean with honeysuckle adding a sweet floral edge, then basil, rosemary and coriander turn the middle bitter and herbal, which is what separates it from a plain cologne. Oakmoss, vetiver and sandalwood give the base a dry, earthy finish. Bracing rather than pretty. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits spring and summer daylight.
