Magnifique

Magnifique is a woody floral musk for women, created by Jacques Cavallier Belletrud and Olivier Cresp for Lancôme in 2008. Its materials are listed without a pyramid, so it is better described by what dominates: saffron and caraway give it a dry, almost leathery spice, rose and jasmine sit underneath rather than on top, and vetiver, sandalwood and nagarmotha root make the whole thing earthy and dark. More austere than most florals from the house. It lasts a long time and projects strongly, and it suits autumn and winter, day or night.
