Tobacco Vanille is an oriental spicy fragrance for women and men, made for Tom Ford by Olivier Gillotin in 2007. It smells of pipe tobacco softened with vanilla: dried tobacco leaf and warm spice to open, then cacao, tonka bean and tobacco blossom, with dried fruit and woods underneath. Sweet rather than smoky, and heavier than most tobacco scents. It lasts a long time and projects strongly, so go carefully. Made for cold weather, on autumn and winter evenings, indoors, where the sweetness has room to settle.
