More Than Words

More Than Words is an oriental woody fragrance for women and men, composed by Chris Maurice for Xerjoff in 2012 as part of the Join the Club collection, where each scent stands for a club; this one is for writers and poets, and its formula was meant to stay secret. What is listed is broad: oud at the centre, resinous and dry, with olibanum and labdanum giving smoke and sweetness, ambergris adding salt, and vague fruity and floral touches on top. Dense and ceremonial. It lasts all day and projects strongly, and it suits autumn and winter evenings.
