Ange ou Demon is an oriental floral from Givenchy for women, created in 2006 by Jean-Pierre Bethouart and Olivier Cresp. The name means Angel or Devil, and in some markets it was sold as Ange ou Etrange instead. Saffron and thyme give the opening a warm, slightly medicinal bite before lily, orchid and ylang-ylang fill out a heavy white floral heart, and vanilla, tonka bean, rosewood and oakmoss carry the sweetness down. It is strong and long-lasting, and best kept for autumn and winter evenings.
