Organza is Givenchy's oriental floral for women, composed by Sophie Labbé and released in 1996. It is a warm white-flower bouquet built on gardenia, tuberose and jasmine, given a spiced edge by nutmeg and mace at the opening and a faintly animalic depth underneath. Vanilla, amber and guaiac wood settle the richness in the base so the flowers never turn shrill. The bottle was designed by Serge Mansau. It lasts for hours and projects strongly, so keep it for autumn and winter evenings, when its warmth feels most at home.
