L'Interdit Eau de Parfum Rouge is an oriental floral for women, created for Givenchy in 2021 by Dominique Ropion, Anne Flipo and Fanny Bal, a spicier reading of the house's L'Interdit. Ginger and blood orange open it with real bite, then tuberose fills the middle, creamy and narcotic, with pimento leaf giving it a peppery, almost burning edge that keeps the flower from turning soft. Sandalwood, patchouli and vetiver darken the drydown. Spiced rather than sweet. It lasts a long time and projects strongly, and it suits autumn and winter evenings.
