L’Homme Idéal

L'Homme Idéal is a woody aromatic fragrance for men, composed by Thierry Wasser for Guerlain in 2014. Bitter orange, citrus and rosemary open it clean and slightly bitter with orange blossom softening them. Almond is the note that carries it, toasted rather than sugary, with tonka bean giving that a warm pastry quality without letting it become a dessert. Leather, cedar and vetiver keep the base dry and a little rough. The contrast between the almond and the leather is the whole idea. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits autumn and winter, day or night.
