Un Jardin à Cythère

Un Jardin à Cythère is a woody aromatic fragrance for women and men, composed by Christine Nagel for Hermès in 2023. It came out of a journey through Greece to the island of Kythira, and Nagel described the result as a garden that is neither green nor floral but blond. Citrus and a dry grassy accord open it, and the pairing underneath is what makes it unusual: olive tree giving a hard, almost mineral wood against the soft nuttiness of fresh pistachio. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits spring and summer daylight.
