Un Jardin Sur Le Nil is a floral fruity fragrance for women and men, made for Hermès by Jean-Claude Ellena in 2005, the second destination in the house's impressionistic travel journal and drawn from the garden islands of the Nile at Assouan. Green mango leads, hard and unripe, with grapefruit, and a raw carrot and tomato greenness sits behind it. Lotus, bulrush and peony keep the middle watery and cool, while incense, iris and a little cinnamon dry it out. Light and transparent throughout. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately. Spring and summer, daytime.
