Un Jardin en Méditerranée is a floral aquatic from Hermès for women and men, composed by Jean-Claude Ellena in 2003. It was inspired by the Tunisian garden of Leïla Menchari, who directed the window displays at Hermès, and it reads like a watercolour of that place: a fig tree in morning shade, citrus and water. Bergamot, lemon and mandarin lead into orange blossom and oleander, then a green, milky fig leaf over cypress, juniper and cedar. It wears lightly with moderate reach and staying power. A summer daytime scent.
