Un Jardin Apres la Mousson is a woody spicy fragrance for women and men, composed by Jean-Claude Ellena for Hermès in 2008 after time spent in Kerala, and it sets out to catch the moment the monsoon gives back what the sun has taken. Ginger dominates, both the root and the flower, wet and peppery rather than warm, with cardamom, coriander and pepper around it and watery notes keeping everything damp. White ginger lily and vetiver give it a green, stalky close. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits summer days.
