Opera is a woody floral musk for women and men, composed by Chris Maurice for Xerjoff in 2019. Turkish rose leads over a general fruit accord, then leather and amber warm the heart with ylang-ylang and nutmeg beside them. The base is deep and dry: patchouli, Haitian vetiver, Virginia cedar and musk with vanilla rounding it off. Rich without being sticky. The bottle came with a silk scarf made near Lake Como. It lasts a long time and projects strongly, an evening scent for winter and autumn.
