Richwood

Richwood is a woody chypre for women and men, released by Xerjoff in 2010 with no perfumer credited. It arrived in the XJ 17/17 collection alongside Damarose, and the house makes much of its Mysore sandalwood. Tangerine, grapefruit and bergamot open it bright, damask rose and blackcurrant give the heart a tart, jammy centre, and patchouli with sandalwood, labdanum and vanilla takes it somewhere warmer and powdery. Rose over earth, sweetened at the end. It lasts a long time and projects strongly, and it suits winter, spring and autumn, day or night.
