Chance Eau de Toilette

Chance Eau de Toilette is a chypre floral for women, made by Jacques Polge for Chanel in 2002. Its name is the French word for luck. Pink pepper and pineapple give it a sharp, faintly sweet opening over hyacinth and iris, and patchouli is present from the first minute rather than waiting for the drydown. Lemon, jasmine and rose soften the middle. It ends earthy and musky, patchouli and vetiver with a little vanilla. It lasts a long time and projects strongly, and it works best in spring and autumn daylight.
