Coco Eau de Parfum is an oriental spicy fragrance for women, made by Jacques Polge for Chanel in 1984. It opens on Bulgarian rose and mandarin with coriander giving it an edge, then turns warm and floral through cloves, mimosa and orange blossom. What carries it is the base: labdanum and opoponax over amber, tonka bean and vanilla, with sandalwood underneath and a hint of civet. Rich rather than sugary, and more powdery than the note list suggests. It lasts a long time and projects strongly, which makes it an autumn and winter evening scent.
