Chance Eau Fraiche is a chypre floral fragrance for women, made for Chanel by Jacques Polge in 2007. It reads cool and green rather than rich: lemon and citron over cedar to start, then a watery hyacinth note with jasmine and a pinch of pink pepper. The base stays dry rather than sweet, with vetiver, patchouli, teak wood and white musk, and a powdery iris softness running under all of it. Crisp, tidy, and easy to wear without thinking about it. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately. Spring and summer, daytime.
