Chanel No 19 Eau de Parfum

Chanel No 19 Eau de Parfum is a green floral for women, a reinterpretation of No 19 rather than simply a stronger concentration of it. The original was launched in 1970 and the number refers to Coco Chanel's birthday, the nineteenth of August. Green notes, bergamot and neroli open it cold and sappy. Iris runs through the heart with narcissus, rose and lily-of-the-valley around it, cool and a little austere. Oakmoss, vetiver and leather give the base its dry bite, with sandalwood softening it. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits spring daytime.
