Gabrielle is a floral for women, composed by Olivier Polge for Chanel in 2017 as an imaginary flower rather than a portrait of a real one. Grapefruit and mandarin open it bright, then four white flowers are blended into a single impression: jasmine, ylang-ylang, orange blossom and Grasse tuberose, with pear and pink pepper keeping it sparkling rather than heavy. Musk, sandalwood, cashmeran and orris hold it lightly at the end. Radiant and smooth, with no single flower allowed to lead. It lasts a moderate while and projects moderately, and it suits spring and autumn daylight.
