Fahrenheit is an aromatic fougere for men, made for Dior by Jean-Louis Sieuzac, Maurice Roger and Michel Almairac in 1988. Lavender, mandarin and nutmeg flower open it, but it is remembered for what follows: violet leaf over leather, green and faintly metallic and unlike anything else on a counter. Nutmeg, cedar and sandalwood sit alongside it, and vetiver, patchouli and tonka bean take it down warm. It lasts a long time and projects strongly. Autumn and winter evenings.
