Hypnotic Poison is an oriental vanilla for women, made for Dior by Annick Menardo in 1998. Bitter almond and vanilla do the work, creamy and nutty at once, with coconut and soft stone fruit at the opening and jasmine and caraway keeping it from turning into pudding. Sandalwood and musk sit underneath and leave a powdery finish. Rich, close to the skin and nothing like a fresh floral. It lasts a long time and projects strongly. Autumn and winter evenings.
