Sauvage Eau de Parfum is an oriental fougere for men, made in house at Dior by François Demachy in 2018, a reworking of the original Sauvage. Bergamot and Sichuan pepper still open it and ambroxan still runs underneath, but star anise and nutmeg thicken the spice, lavender softens it, and papua vanilla rounds off the base. Warmer, sweeter and darker than the original without losing what made it recognisable. Johnny Depp fronted it. It lasts a long time and projects strongly. Any season, day or night.
