Sauvage is an aromatic fougere for men, made in house at Dior by François Demachy in 2015. Calabrian bergamot and pepper open it loud and clean, and then ambroxan takes over: dry, mineral, faintly salty, and the reason the fragrance is as recognisable as it is. Lavender, geranium and vetiver sit in the middle, cedar and labdanum at the end. Dior borrowed the name from its older Eau Sauvage without putting the two in the same line. It lasts a long time and projects strongly. Spring through autumn, day or night.
